- A rent review and reductions introduced to bring Hoddesdon in line with other markets.
- Better facilities for traders and customers alike - in particular public toilet facilities in the town centre.
- Improvements made to the appearance to the market in general.
- Incentives and publicity to attract more, and a greater variety of stalls/traders into the town.
- Designated special days for different types of markets e.g. farmer's market, antiques market, French and Italian markets, etc.
