Before Hoddesdon became part of the Borough of Broxbourne, there was a comprehensive Town Guide, with a map, details of services, shops and businesses etc.
Perhaps now would be a good time to revise and re-issue it?
It might give the town more of a focus and foster interest and a sense of community and pride.
The cover of the new version could look something like this. Even with the Tower Centre in the background, it looks quite attractive.
In the top left hand corner is the Borough of Broxbourne coat of arms, on the right the old Hoddesdon Urban District Council coat of arms.
The Borough's motto is "Cor unum via una" - "One heart, one way".
