The exhibition described in the following pages was presented by Action4Hoddesdon - an independent community group of residents and business people who are concerned about the current state of our historic market town and its communities.

The exhibition contains ideas and proposals which have arisen from

• public discussions;
• research by members of the group;
• the results of various questionnaires we have conducted over the last 3 months.

Your comments on and support for this exhibition have been fed directly back to Broxbourne Council as part of the formal consultation on the proposed new Town Plan for Hoddesdon.

The Hoddesdon Charter is a statement of our short term priorities for the town and was backed unanimously by 350 people at a public meeting in March. Since then Broxbourne Council have agreed to adopt SEVEN out of the NINE points.
